Aluminum foil duct tape is a high performance adhesive material that combines aluminum foil and fabric substrate. It consists of a soft and tough fabric (such as cotton or polyester) as a carrier, covered with high-reflectivity aluminum foil, and coated with high-strength pressure-sensitive adhesive.
Usage method
Preparation work:
Ensure that the surface of the bonded object is clean, dry and free of contaminants such as grease to improve the bonding effect.
Cut the appropriate length and width of aluminum foil duct tape according to the actual demand.
Paste process:
Secure one end of the tape to the object to be wrapped and begin wrapping it tightly in one direction, each loop covering about 50% of the width of the previous loop, ensuring an even distribution of pressure.
During the entire paste process, maintain a moderate tension, neither too tight to avoid damage to the wrapped material, nor too loose to affect the bonding effect.
End processing:
After finishing pasting, gently press the surface of the tape with your hand so that it is in full contact with the object being glued and compacts the edge part.
If you need to paste multiple layers, you can continue to add a second layer on top of the first layer, again following the above steps.
