Then you know that the base material and glue are related to those parameters.
The base material affects the tape: elongation at break/tensile strength/noise reduction/wear resistance etc.
The glue will affect the tape: peel force to substrate/peel force to steel plate/stickiness/temperature, etc.
Let's discuss temperature resistance today.
According to the use of the base material, the temperature resistance is divided into three grades
105°C 125°C 150°C
Here comes the question, how do we test the temperature resistance problem without a laboratory.
It is very easy for us to find the kettle. First, we stick the tape on the surface of the kettle at one time. When the water boils to 100°, wait for 5 minutes. When we slowly tear the tape off you'll be waiting for a different answer
1. When you pull it apart, you will find that the colloid stretches very long. This is because the temperature resistance of the glue is not up to the standard, which destroys the performance of the glue
2. When you pull it apart, the colloid is complete and shiny, indicating that the colloid is temperature-resistant and complete
Through this small experiment, you can test the quality of the tape and judge our judgment on the quality of the tape.
