Why does electrical tape stick up

Why does electrical tape stick up? What's the harm?

Why does electrical tape stick up?

1. When the electrical components are wrapped with tape, and stored for several weeks before proceeding to the next process, the tape will be warped during long-term storage.

2. During the dipping treatment of electrical components during the heat treatment, the tape will be affected by the solvent in the dipping paint or directly heat treated, resulting in the phenomenon of warping.

What's the harm in electrical tape?

It directly affects the appearance of the sticky product, as well as its use and performance. The thickness, hardness, and adhesive force of the electrical tape can achieve the best combination to avoid warping.

In the above pictures, some of the tape has begun to peel off and fall off, which is really shocking and cruel. The weather is hot, and a little carelessness can easily lead to electrical short circuits and safety accidents.

The technicians of Liantu have been controlling the quality layer by layer, producing high-quality products in accordance with the IEC International Electrotechnical Commission and the UL-510 flame retardant industry standard of the United States, and the products are exported to Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States.

Test method for tipping of electrical tape: wrap the tape sample on a metal rod with a diameter of 3mm in a semi-lapped manner, and place it at room temperature for a week to check whether the tape is lifted. For example, in the heat treatment process of general electrical components, it should be treated in the impregnating paint for more than 20 minutes. And heat treatment at 150 ° C for 30-60 minutes before dipping, and then check the lifting of the tape, the allowable error is less than 3mm, and 0-1.5mm is the best.
